See the Coast From a Whole New Angle

Breakday Charters offers eco tours and sightseeing cruises along the waterways of Carteret County, NC. Captain Justin takes you out on the water to experience the natural side of the Crystal Coast up close.
Not every great day on the water has to involve a fishing rod. Whether you’re traveling with kids, non-anglers, or just want a slower pace, Breakday’s tours give you an honest look at what makes this coastline special. From nesting shorebirds to dolphins riding the bow wake, the Crystal Coast delivers something different every time you go out. Book a tour out of Atlantic Beach or Newport today.

Two Ways to See the Crystal Coast

Breakday offers two distinct on-water experiences for groups who want to explore beyond the fishing charters.

The Crystal Coast Has a Lot Going On Out There

Captain Justin has spent over 12 years on these waters. He knows where the dolphins hang out, where the shorebirds nest, and which tidal creeks are worth exploring. On an eco tour or sightseeing cruise with Breakday, you get that local knowledge without having to earn it over a decade on the water. These trips run out of Sea Gate Marina in Newport and Town Creek Water Access in Beaufort, putting you right in the middle of some of the most scenic stretches of the North Carolina coast.

My 17 year old son and I had an amazing trip with Justin. I highly recommend a trip with him. He keeps it laid back, but is great about telling you what he knows. He also really put us on the fish. The marina is very convenient. Easy to park and has a great store with whatever you need for the boat. There are even showers/bathrooms there if you need. We’ve done a lot of charters, and this is as good as it gets.

We had an incredible half-day fishing trip with Justin Ragsdale at Breakday Charters! Justin is amazing at finding the fish – we caught False Albacore, Blue, Spanish Mackerel, and even some bottom feeders that kept things exciting. This was my second time booking with him, and once again he proved to be absolutely top notch. Justin makes the whole experience fun, professional, and memorable. I can’t wait to book again and will be recommending him to all my friends and family!

We had the best half day trip for my husband’s birthday! Tons of Spanish and laughs, along with our daughter catching her first saltwater fish. Memories were most definitely made. She’s already wanting to go again, thank you so much!
